Thank you for helping me twice!

Thank you for working so hard for me the first, and especially the second time I needed your help. Without your hard work, I wouldn’t have been able to keep, let alone spend the past 10 months, with my beautiful daughter, Olivia. She was born on February 16, 2019 in Aurora, Co. After 18 days in the NICU, we both went back to Haven House. I went back home to live with my mom and have been sober for over a year now. I have been working on my sobriety, repairing my relationships with my family, and building a new life for me and Olivia. I am happy now and I look forward to each day because I know I get to spend it with my daughter.

As I look back on the year, I would have never celebrated my first Mother’s Day as a Mom, gotten and stayed clean, and taken back my life without your help. Thank you for never giving up on me and for advocating for me to go to Haven House instead of prison. It changed my life for the better in more ways than I can count and words cannot convey how grateful I am for you. Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I will not waste it. Happy Holidays!
