Perhaps above all, we believe in the idea that a government can only justly rule with the informed consent of the governed.
We also believe that the privilege of living in the world’s mightiest nation—a nation that blessedly values these rights—comes with an obligation to those that have their own rights, liberties, and very existence threatened.
In the famous words of Martin Luther King, Jr., we believe that “[i]njustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
At Peakstone Law Group, we are in solidarity with the Ukrainian people. We are heartbroken by the violence and loss of life due to the invasion, and in awe of its people as they valiantly and courageously struggle to hold onto what we so easily take for granted.
We stand united with Ukraine – together for its freedom and alongside its people. Their fight to protect their democracy, their rights, their sovereignty, and their very lives deserves our utmost support. In their struggle, we must see ourselves.
To show our support of the Ukrainian people, we are donating 5% of our net revenue* to vetted nonprofit relief organizations and Ukrainian causes working to assist the people of Ukraine in their struggle at home and those who are displaced to other regions. These organizations include:
